Did you ever wanted to be a during your life at all? I read an article, The Sociology of Leopard Man, by Logan Feys. The genre is non-fiction I believe. “Society looks down upon freakish and extraordinary individuals alike and views them with suspicion”. I think Feys is trying to make extraordinary people feel like no one likes them and you are only doing this for attention.
I disagree with the author because society doesn’t tell you what wear, get tattoos, or even how to act in public. The author’s argument was, “ Society tends to discourage people from expressing their unique ideas and behaving in ways that are different from their peers”.
Logan Feys blames people and society for the extraordinary people how they act, dress, and look. “ Society looks down upon freakish and extraordinary people”. He also said,” Ordinary people fear what they don’t understand”. He is trying to say that we, the society, are making people be different and not acting normal.
Another example is he thinks Conformity is the world’s most common disorder. I think Feys just hates how people are acting different and not trying to fit in with the others. I also strongly believe is trying to bring down the extraordinary people, putting them on blast, and just making stupid reasons about being different.
My thesis was Feys is trying to make extraordinary people feel like no one likes them, no one cares about them, and is just trying to get attention for them. My advice to you is you should be like leopard man time to time not all the time. You should go out and have fun during the weekends.
